Classes and Club Session Times
There are two ways you can give fencing a go at the Fencing Institute. Join one of the group classes listed below. Our classes are designed for new fencers to learn the basics, get a good workout, and just have a fun time. All equipment for the classes is provided. We offer beginner classes for both young fencers and adults. You will only need sports shoes, trousers and a tee-shirt.
If you are a beginner, you can try a class before you decide to join for the full term. It is $15 to visit a beginner class, which includes equipment. If you join the class, the visit fee is deductible from the term fee.
Or you can contact one of our coaches for a private lesson. Times can be arranged to suit your needs.
After completing beginner and intermediate classes or a series of private lessons, you can sign up as a club member. If you already have experience fencing and have your own equipment, this is also the option for you. Club session times are listed below. Go to the membership page for more information.
