This is the last club competition of the year. It will be held on Sunday 11th October.  This competition is an open event for all fencers. It is suitable for secondary school aged fencers and up. Novice fencers are particularly welcome. Format will be dependent on numbers but maxi fence will be prioritised. There will be Direct Elimination bouts for the top half of the poule and Plate Finals for the bottom half. This is a perfect competition in preparation for the regional Mid South Open to be held on the 24th and 25th October.

The Fencing Institute is running a school holiday programme for both primary and intermediate aged students and adults and high school aged students. For those students that are new to fencing this is a good opportunity for you to get a taste of fencing. For current  fencers this is a chance to polish your skills. Primary school is 3 mornings and adult and high school 3 afternoons – both in the first week of the school holidays. Students can come to just one session or up to all 3.
